Hadhramaut Governor praises the progress of the second phase of the Khor Mukalla project.

The Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, praised the level of achievement in the second phase of the Khor Al Mukalla project, which is being implemented by the Yemeni Al Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited. During the inspection visit, accompanied by the Undersecretary of Hadhramaut Governorate for Technical Affairs, Engineer Amin Barziq, Engineer Fawzi Al Maghribi, Project Manager at the Egyptian Engineering Consulting Office, reviewed the most prominent works completed during the past period, which are represented in digging the water channel, cleaning works, retaining walls, and pedestrian bridges, in addition to the works of the Al Munawara Bridge, where more than 70% of the pile works have been completed, adding that the works on one of the axes of the Al Munawara Bridge have been completely completed. The Governor bin Madi was also briefed on the ongoing works at the entrances to the floods towards the Book Roundabout, which include excavation, insulation, and retaining walls, as well as works on the culvert, rainwater collection tank, and springs. For his part, Mr. Shafiq Hussein Al Amoudi, General Manager of the Yemeni Al Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited, indicated that the engineering, technical, and administrative teams of the second phase of the Khor Al Mukalla project are working hard to overcome the challenges and difficulties and complete the project with the highest technical specifications. For his part, the Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhout bin Madi reviewed the progress of the second phase of the Khor Mukalla project, praising the significant role and efforts of the project’s work crews. He emphasized the local authorities’ support for facilitating the project, which is considered one of the largest tourism projects in the country.
He was accompanied on the visit by Sheikh Abdul Qader Saeed Al Amoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al Amoudi Yemeni Group for Contracting and Trading Limited; Engineer Saleh Al Amri, Director General of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads Office in Hadhramaut Coast; Engineer Fathi Abdrabuh, Project Consultant Engineer; and the management and engineers of the second phase of the Khor Mukalla project.
