Sheikh Abdul Qader Saeed Al Amoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Amoudi Yemeni Contracting and Trading Group Ltd., accompanied by Professor Zaki Ibrahim Mahmoud, Director of the Engineering Consulting Office, the designer and supervisor of the Khor Mukalla Phase II project, inspected the ongoing construction work on the Al-Munawara Bridge as part of the Khor Mukalla Phase II project. During the field visit, Engineer Fawzi Al-Maghribi, Project Manager at the Egyptian Engineering Consulting Office, reviewed the most important works that have been completed and others that are being worked on. He noted that 70% of the pile work for the Al-Munawara Bridge has been completed, confirming the continuation of excavation work, cleaning concrete, retaining walls, and columns for one of the axes of the Al-Munawara Bridge. He also reviewed a number of difficulties and obstacles facing engineering and technical crews at the work sites, including waterlogging, the hardness of the floors where the pile work is being carried out, and the recurring floods that affect the progress of the project. Professor Zaki Ibrahim indicated that the Khor Mukalla Phase II project is being worked on according to international technical specifications, praising the efforts made by the engineering and technical crews on the project. The visit was attended by Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Najjar, Director of the Khor Al-Mukalla Phase II Project at Al-Amoudi Contracting and Trading Group, Engineer Hisham Mohammed, Site Engineer of the Khor Al-Mukalla Phase II Project at the Egyptian Engineering Consulting Office, and Engineer Ahmed Ba Mahmoud, Site Engineer of the Khor Al-Mukalla Phase II Project at Al-Amoudi Yemeni Contracting and Trading Group Limited.
