Hadhramaut Governor officially opens Nuba Bridge in Hajar District

The Governor of Hadhramaut Governorate, Mr. Mabkhot Mubarak bin Madi, inaugurated the Nuba Bridge in Hajr District this morning, Sunday, February 25, 2024. This coincided with the Cleanliness and Environment Week 2024. The inauguration, which was attended by a member of the House of Representatives, the Hadhramaut Governor’s deputies, the Commander of the Second Military Region, directors-general of ministry offices, and social and tribal figures, Mr. Shafiq Hussein Al-Amoudi, General Manager of the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited, confirmed that the Nuba Bridge was completed in record time. It is 105 meters long, with a total length, including entrances, exits, and guardrails, of 700 meters. The bridge includes seven openings, each 10 meters high. The bridge was constructed using a precast method and rests on piles with deep foundations.
For his part, the Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhot bin Madi, commended the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited for completing the project in a short period of time, which he described as a lifeline and a tributary to the bridge sector and a reinforcement of the nation’s infrastructure.
The opening ceremony was attended by Sheikh Abdul Qader Saeed Al Amoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Amoudi Yemeni Contracting and Trading Group Limited, a number of project engineers, and residents of the area.
