The Minister of Public Works and Roads, Eng. Salem Mohammed Al-Harizi, and the Governor of Hadhramaut Governorate, Mr. Mabkhot Mubarak bin Madi, inspected the second phase of the Khor Al-Mukalla project. They were received by Professor Dr. Eng. Zaki Ibrahim Mahmoud, Director of the Consulting Office, the designer and supervisor of the second phase of the Khor Al-Mukalla project. Mahmoud reviewed the progress of work, which includes excavation work for the water channel and the cleaning concrete work for one of the retaining walls. He emphasized that the implementation work by the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited is being carried out according to the highest technical specifications and in accordance with the project timeline. For his part, Eng. Salem Al-Harizi, Minister of Public Works and Roads, praised the progress of work, noting the support of the political leadership, represented by His Excellency Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council. He also commended the efforts of the local authority in Hadhramaut Governorate, the Egyptian Engineering Consulting Office, and the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited.

The visit was attended by the Secretary-General of the Governorate’s Local Council, the Deputy Governor of Hadhramaut, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading, the General Manager of the Al-Amoudi Group, the Director-General of the Public Works and Roads Office, and the Director-General of the Roads and Bridges Corporation in Hadhramaut Coast.
