A meeting was held in the city of Mukalla, chaired by the General Manager of Al-Amoudi Yemeni Group for Contracting and Trading Ltd., Mr. Shafiq Hussein Al-Amoudi, to discuss the final preparations for the opening of the Al-Munawara Bridge, as part of the second phase of the Khor Mukalla project. The meeting, which was attended by the directors of projects, finance, and personnel affairs, the director of the Khor Mukalla second phase project, and supervisors of the traffic, operation, and procurement sectors, the General Manager praised the efforts made by the engineering, administrative, and technical teams and their dedication to completing the work according to the highest levels of quality. He pointed out the importance of the Al-Munawara Bridge for the city of Mukalla in particular and Hadhramaut in general, as it provides the city with a network of new paths and roads, solves the problem of flood interruptions, and adds a charming aesthetic touch to the city, as part of the second phase of the Khor Mukalla project. After that, the meeting discussed the progress and achievement reports on the Al-Munawara Bridge, which were reviewed by the group’s specialists. The meeting also discussed the final preparations underway for the opening of the Al-Munawara Bridge, and discussed the visit of the Director of the Egyptian Engineering Consulting Office, Professor Dr. Engineer Zaki Ibrahim Mahmoud, later this week to discuss preparations and begin work on the Chinese bridge site.
