Hadramaut Governorate’s Undersecretary for Technical Affairs, Engineer Amin Saeed Barzeeq, chaired a meeting to discuss the ongoing preparations for the commencement of work at the Chinese Bridge site for the second phase of the Khor Mukalla project. The meeting, which was attended by Sheikh Abdul Qader Saeed Al Amoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni Al Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited, Professor Zaki Ibrahim Mahmoud, Director of the Egyptian Engineering Consulting Office, and Engineer Saleh Faiz Al Amri, Director General of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads Office, Eng. Amin Barzeeq, Undersecretary for Technical Affairs and Deputy Head of the Executive Unit for the second phase of the Khor Mukalla project, discussed with the Egyptian Engineering Consulting Office for the second phase of the Khor Mukalla project and the Yemeni Al Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited, the company implementing the project, the difficulties and obstacles facing the project’s progress and ways to resolve and address them. The meeting also discussed the final works and finishing touches for the opening of the Al Munawara Bridge and connecting the roads adjacent to the bridge. The meeting also discussed the preliminary and preparatory works for the Chinese Bridge site, the work mechanism, and alternative routes during the implementation period. The meeting was attended by Eng. Sadiq Yawz, Project Manager at Al Amoudi Group, Dr. Abdulaziz Al Najjar, Project Manager of Khor Al Mukalla Phase II Project, Eng. Marwan Barja, Project General Supervisor, Eng. Mukher Talal, Engineer at the Project Technical Office, Eng. Fawzi Al Maghribi, Project Manager at the Consulting Office, and Eng. Hesham Mohammed, Site Engineer at the Project Consulting Office.
