Yesterday morning, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, Hadramout Governor, Mr. Mabkhot Mubarak bin Madi, held a meeting with the management of the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited, in the presence of its Chairman of the Board of Directors, Sheikh Abdul Qader Saeed Al-Amoudi, and its General Manager, Mr. Shafiq Hussein Al-Amoudi, and the management of the Egyptian Engineering Consulting Office, in the presence of its General Manager, Professor Zaki Ibrahim Mahmoud, and the Director of its office in Yemen, Engineer Fawzi Al-Maghribi. The meeting, which was attended by Hadramout Governorate’s Undersecretary for Technical Affairs, Engineer Amin Saeed Barziq, and the Director General of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads Office, Engineer Saleh Faiz Al-Omari, the Governor listened to a detailed explanation from Professor Zaki Ibrahim, General Manager of the Egyptian Engineering Consulting Office, who reviewed the details of the ongoing construction work and highlighted the difficulties and obstacles facing the project. He pointed out the final finishing touches being made to the Al-Munawara Bridge, which include the handrails, sidewalks, and asphalt works. Discussions also covered the preliminary and preparatory work for the Chinese Bridge site, the work mechanism, and the newly developed alternative roads during the implementation period. The Governor then toured the various work sites of the project, praising the level of progress in the project. They were accompanied on the visit by Engineer Sadiq Yawz, Project Manager of Al Amoudi Group, Dr. Abdulaziz Al Najjar, Project Manager of Khor Al Mukalla Phase II, Engineer Marwan Barja, General Supervisor of the project, the engineering, administrative and technical staff of the project, Engineer Hesham Mohammed, Site Engineer of the Egyptian Consulting Office, and the technical staff of the consulting office.
