A delegation from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the German Development Bank (KfW) inspected the progress of preparatory and construction work underway at the Aden Fish Dockyard project, which is being implemented by the Al-Amoudi Yemeni Group for Contracting and Trading Ltd. During the field visit, UNDP Fisheries Project Manager Karina Shibalova and KfW Program Manager Anis Al-Sharjabi were briefed by Engineer Sadiq Yafouz, Project Manager at the Al-Amoudi Yemeni Group for Contracting and Trading Ltd., on the project’s preparatory and construction phases. He also highlighted the main engineering challenges and obstacles facing the project teams. The delegation also inspected the ongoing excavation work for the sedimentation basins and the mechanical readiness of the specialized equipment and machinery.

The visit was attended by UNDP project engineers and the engineering and technical staff of the Al-Amoudi Yemeni Group for Contracting and Trading Ltd.
