Al-Shehr Port
It is one of the largest fish ports in the Republic of Yemen and consists of breakwaters with lengths of up to 2000 meters, made of natural stones weighing up to 15 tons, and also of special concrete blocks (dolos). The project also includes a 280-meter-long sea pier with a depth of 4.5 meters from the zero sea point. The water area of the project is 400,000 square meters, and the port can accommodate more than 600 fishing boats.
Yemen Fish Port
This project is considered one of the marine projects with a special nature in its implementation and the purpose of its establishment is to develop fish wealth in Yemen. The project consists of (an eastern breaker with a length of 750 m, a western breaker with a length of 350 m, docks with a length of 250 m, a draft with a depth of 400 m, backfill quantities of 50,000 m3, and dredging works of 4,000 m3).
Hodeidah Port
The project to rehabilitate, develop and expand the fishing port in Hodeidah, which is part of the projects of the Second Port Cities Development Program funded by the World Bank, which includes marine and land works. The marine works include deepening the waterway for entry and exit, expanding and deepening the basin, constructing breakwaters to prevent sand resulting from boat movement, with a length of 75 m, a breakwater, a new berth with a length of 100 m, a loading dock with a length of 20 m, implementing an infrastructure dedicated to transporting boats, in addition to constructing marine guidance beacons.
