On Sunday morning, November 2, 2025, the Hadramawt Coast Traffic Police Department conducted a field visit to the second phase of the Khor Al-Mukalla project. During the inspection, Colonel Muammar Abdullah Al-Mashjari, Director General of the Hadramawt Coast Traffic Police, and Lieutenant Colonel Faisal Alawi Al-Yazidi, Assistant Director General of the Hadramawt Coast Traffic Police, welcomed Mr. Shafiq Hussein Al-Amoudi, General Manager of the Al-Amoudi Yemeni Contracting and Trading Group Limited. Mr. Al-Amoudi reviewed the nature of the construction work to be carried out in the coming period, most notably the demolition of the Chinese Bridge and the construction of two new suspension bridges in its place. He emphasized the importance of regulating traffic flow during the construction period. For his part, Colonel Muammar Abdullah Al-Mashjari, Director General of the Hadramawt Coast Traffic Police, confirmed that the Traffic Police Command in the governorate was launching its initial preparations to regulate traffic on main streets, roads, and alternative routes during the construction of the new bridges. He stressed the importance of discipline and adherence to traffic safety guidelines and rules, which will be disseminated in the future, to ensure the safety of citizens and the smooth flow of traffic.
The visit was attended by the Projects Manager of Al-Amoudi Yemeni Group for Contracting and Trade Limited, Engineer Sadiq Ahmed Yafouz.
