Hadramout Governor, Major General Faraj Al-Bahsani, inspects construction work on the Hillah and Ibn Sina bridges

The Governor of Hadramout Governorate, Commander of the Second Military Region, Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, inspected this morning the construction work currently underway on the Halah and Ibn Sina sea bridges, which are being implemented by the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading and financed by the Arab Kuwaiti Fund at a total cost of about 9 million and 200 dollars. He was received by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited, Sheikh Abdul Qader Saeed Al-Amoudi, and its General Manager, Mr. Shafiq Hussein Al-Amoudi.

The Governor of Hadramout stressed the importance of completing the two vital projects located at the western entrance to the city of Mukalla within the specified period of one full year and adhering to the agreed upon technical standards, praising at the same time the Al-Amoudi Group, which has implemented many projects in Hadramout and is one of the leading companies in its field of work.

The Governor of Hadhramaut pointed out that the Ibn Sina and Ambikha sea bridges are among the bridges that were completely damaged due to the disasters that struck the governorate during the past years, especially after the disaster of 2008, and the funding for their reconstruction was stopped due to the war that the country witnessed, and the funding was restored after the communication that was made by the local authority with the legitimacy and the Arab Kuwaiti Fund.

He was accompanied on the visit by the Undersecretary of Hadhramaut for Technical Affairs, Eng. Mohammed Al-Amoudi, and the Director General of the Public Works and Roads Office in the Hadhramaut Coast, Dr. Mohammed Bakhla’a, and a number of officials in the Public Works Office in the governorate and the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group.
