A meeting was held in Al-Mukalla, the capital of Hadramawt Governorate, on Sunday morning, July 26, 2026, to discuss arrangements for resuming work on the second phase of the Khor Al-Mukalla project. The meeting, attended by Sheikh Abdulqader Saeed Al-Amoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Amoudi Yemeni Contracting and Trading Group Limited, Sheikh Saeed Abdulqader Al-Amoudi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Amoudi Contracting and Trading Group, and Mr. Shafiq Hussein Al-Amoudi, General Manager of the Al-Amoudi Contracting and Trading Group, reviewed the updated project timeline. The project will now extend to the end of 2027 instead of 2026, due to a work stoppage of more than seven months. The meeting also discussed the work to be carried out, the mechanisms for its organization, and the main difficulties and obstacles that the engineering, technical, and administrative teams will face, as well as how to overcome them.
For his part, Sheikh Abdulqader Saeed Al-Amoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Amoudi Contracting and Trading Group, emphasized the importance of concerted efforts to complete the project according to the highest international technical standards. He affirmed the Board’s commitment to and support for the project, considering it one of the largest tourism projects in the country.
In a related context, Sheikh Saeed Abdulqader Al-Amoudi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Amoudi Contracting and Trading Group, conducted a field visit to the Khor Al-Mukalla Phase Two project, reviewing the progress made and commending the quality of the execution. He urged the engineering and technical teams to adhere to the project’s technical specifications.
The meeting was attended by the engineering and administrative staff of the Khor Al-Mukalla Phase Two project.
