Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, accompanied by the Undersecretary of Hadhramaut Governorate for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Basarih, inspected the effects of the low-pressure system on the Khor Al-Mukalla Project, Phase II, which affected the city of Mukalla and several districts of the Hadhramaut Coast and Valley. During the inspection visit, Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Major General Faraj Al-Bahsani, learned about the effects of the low-pressure system from the General Manager of the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited, Mr. Shafiq Hussein Al-Amoudi. He noted that the project absorbed massive amounts of heavy rain and absorbed the force and flows of torrential floods from the areas of Al-Ghalila, Al-Saqam, and Al-Sudud. He emphasized the safety of the project’s engineering, technical, and administrative crews, who have begun pumping floodwaters at a rapid pace. Member of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the work being carried out by the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited, emphasizing the importance of the Khor Al-Mukalla Project, Phase II, and noting the Presidential Leadership Council’s support for vital projects. The visit was attended by Eng. Saleh Al-Omari, Director General of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads Office in Hadhramaut Coast, Dr. Hussein Al-Amoudi, Director of Public Relations and Media at Al-Amoudi Group, and the project’s engineering and administrative staff.
