Prof. Dr. Eng. Zaki Ibrahim, Director of the Egyptian Engineering Consulting Office, designer of the second phase of the Khor Al-Mukalla project and the general supervisor of the project, confirmed that the city of Mukalla has proven its need for the second phase of the Khor Al-Mukalla project by containing the effects of the roaring depression that hit the city of Mukalla last April, sparing it the damages it had previously suffered. During a field visit to the project accompanied by engineers from the Egyptian Engineering Consulting Office, Prof. Dr. Eng. Zaki Ibrahim was briefed on the progress of the ongoing work in the project, which includes excavation work, concrete slabs, retaining walls, concrete base, concrete channel walls, and pile work. The Director of the Consulting Office also learned about the difficulties and obstacles facing the project field crews, touring between the work sites, praising the efforts made by the engineering, technical, and administrative crews of the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trade Limited, which has proven its success with high efficiency in a record time according to the highest quality specifications.
