The Prime Minister made an inspection visit to the second phase of the Khor Al Mukalla project.

Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, accompanied by the Governor of Hadhramaut Governorate, Mr. Mabkhot Mubarak bin Madi, reviewed the progress of the second phase of the Khor Al Mukalla project. They were received by Mr. Shafiq Hussein Al Amoudi, General Manager of Al Amoudi Yemeni Group for Contracting and Trading Limited, and Engineer Hisham Mohammed Ibrahim, the site engineer at the project’s engineering consulting office. Ibrahim reviewed the ongoing work on the project, including excavation, retaining walls, and pile foundations. He noted that the project includes the construction of a 45-60 meter wide water channel, 30,000 square meters of green investment areas, two suspension bridges, parking lots, and water bodies.
For his part, Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak praised the level of completion in a short period of time, noting the project’s importance in transforming Hadhramaut’s development and tourism.
He was accompanied on the visit by Minister of Finance Salem bin Braik, Minister of Endowments and Guidance Mohammed Shabiba, Director of the Prime Minister’s Office Anis Baharitha, and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Salem Sulaiman.
