The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads and Head of the Internationally Funded Projects Implementation Unit, Engineer Walid Radman, chaired the regular meeting of the Gharir Bridge Project. At the meeting, which was attended by Mr. Shafiq Hussein Al-Amoudi, General Manager of the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited, Engineer Walid Radman emphasized that the Gharir Bridge Project is a lifeline and an important strategic road linking the city of Mukalla to the governorate of Aden. He highlighted the difficulties and obstacles that the Al-Amoudi Group has faced since the start of work on the project, emphasizing the need to address these challenges and explore the possibility of developing solutions that meet the general specifications and technical requirements, while accelerating the pace of work on the project. The meeting also discussed several items and technical reports, in the presence of engineers from the project’s consulting office, Newtech Geotech. For his part, Mr. Shafiq Hussein Al-Amoudi, General Manager of the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited, emphasized that the project’s engineering, administrative, and technical teams are making every effort to complete the project despite the numerous obstacles surrounding it. He emphasized the importance of holding regular meetings to discuss project developments. The meeting was attended by Eng. Sadiq Yawz, Project Manager at Al Amoudi Group, Eng. Mohammed Al Baqer, Project Manager of the Gharir Bridge at the Newtech Geotech Consulting Office, Eng. Marwan Barja, Project Manager of the Gharir Bridge at Al Amoudi Contracting and Trading Group, and engineers from the consulting office.
