The Undersecretary of Hadhramaut Governorate for Technical Affairs, Eng. Amin Barziq, launched this morning, Sunday, July 21, 2024, a course on specifications and foundations for implementation and engineering supervision of concrete structures, which is being implemented by the Yemeni Engineers Syndicate, Hadhramaut Branch, in cooperation with the German Board for Training and Consulting, Yemen Office, and sponsored by the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited. At the inauguration ceremony, Eng. Amin Barziq, Undersecretary of Hadhramaut Governorate for Technical Affairs, pointed out the importance of the course, calling on participants to benefit from its outcomes to keep pace with modern developments in construction and urban planning, praising the great role of the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited for its support and sponsorship of the course and developing the skills and capabilities of engineers. For his part, Eng. Sadiq Yawz, Project Manager at the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited, confirmed that the course comes within the social responsibility program implemented by the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited, represented in one of the most important sections of the program, which is the qualification of engineers and the development of their scientific and practical skills, stressing the keenness and support of the group’s leadership for these programs, represented by Sheikh Abdul Qader Saeed Al-Amoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Shafiq Hussein Al-Amoudi, General Manager of the Group, indicating that the program will be implemented A field visit to the Khor Mukalla Phase II project was conducted to gain a firsthand insight into the implementation of quality work in practice and to provide participants with an understanding of the stages and steps of the implementation and construction foundations of projects and construction works.
Engineer Omar Mukhair, Head of the Yemeni Engineers Syndicate, Hadhramaut Branch, stated that the course targets 70 male and female engineers and will last for 20 days. Trainees will receive various theoretical and practical topics, praising the generous support of the Yemeni Al-Amoudi Group for Contracting and Trading Limited.
The inauguration was attended by Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Najjar, Director of the Khor Mukalla Phase II Project; Dr. Hussein Al-Amoudi, Director of Public Relations and Media; and Eng. Mohammed Al-Khalifi, an engineer in the Technical Office of the Khor Mukalla Phase II Project at the Al-Amoudi Group.
